Expand your wireless network coverage and eliminate dead spots from your home by adding a Netgear RBS850 Orbi AX6000 Tri-Band Gigabit Mesh Wi-Fi Satellite to your compatible mesh Wi-Fi system. This 802.11ax satellite adds up to 2500 square feet of coverage to your mesh Wi-Fi network, transferring up to 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency and 2400 Mb/s on the 5 GHz signal while communicating with the router and other satellites using a dedicated 2400 Mb/s 5 GHz signal to deliver a fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection as you roam from room to room. Four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles. The RBS850 satellite can be quickly configured using the Orbi mobile app and you can control its settings by issuing voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Fast Wi-Fi

The RBS850 802.11ax satellite adds on to an existing compatible mesh Wi-Fi system. It features eight amplified internal antennas that are designed to deliver up to 6000 Mb/s of data throughput over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies while communicating with the router and other satellites through a dedicated 5 GHz signal.

Beamforming & MU-MIMO

This Wi-Fi system supports both beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies to help maximize speed and ensure a reliable connection. Beamforming actively directs the internal antennas to focus on the devices accessing the system via either band, while MU-MIMO gives multiple users multiple dedicated network connections.

Seamless Roaming

The RBS850 adds up to 2500 square feet of coverage to your mesh Wi-Fi network, which operates under a single network ID (SSID) to help ensure a reliable and seamless connection as you roam from room to room while watching 4K videos, playing online games, listening to music, and more.

Voice Control with Alexa & Google

The Orbi supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to allow you to manage the network via voice commands. Ask either digital assistant to pause Wi-Fi, turn on the guest network, and more.
